How do I remove Chromium's user profile?

I'm trying to get Gmail as the default mail handler in Chromium and Google's documentation isn't working, so I need to completely delete the profile and start over. The profile is located at ~/.config/chromium/, and no matter how many times I delete it as user or root with Chromium uninstalled it just keeps coming back.

HELP!

If I understand your question, each time you start chromium, it will create a new ~/.config/chromium file if one doesn't exist.
Therefore, that new .config/chromium profile that you see isn't the same as the one you deleted.

I'm not starting Chromium though, it's uninstalled from my system and the file persists.

Heh, I think we've all had moments like that. Glad you got it fixed.
