How do I make an ISO image of what I have on my pc?

I'd like to know if there's anyway, or if there an easy way of making an exact image of my hard drive. I don't really mean exact, but a way so that I can make a livecd (installable too) of my running Ubuntu laptop. So that I can install it again, with all the apps and suff on another laptop/computer. Excluding all my personal files, in the my home directory. And keeping all my firmware files. Any help greatly appreciated.

Try CloneZilla, you can boot from the CloneZilla CD and it will create an Image of the disk or partitions, work like Norton Ghost if you know of that.

So clonezilla will make a bootable iso of my running linux installation? Will it copy the firmware and stuff like that too?
