Okay, all seems to be working. My next question is this. How do I actually use Samba. Installation I'm afraid is probably the easiest part of this. I may be repeating myself but I want to connect my computer to a Windows Server 2000 Domain if possible. Can you help me with this?

See this webpage for a description of the different types of Ubuntu repositories, including restricted.

Once again, see the Samba documentation (link in my first post) to configure Samba. Alternatively, google for a howto or tutorial. Bet there's one specifically for configuring Samba on an Ubuntu machine somewhere out there.
