How do I install Flash Player
HI,
Does anybody know how to install the latest Flash Player on a Linux OS ? I installed linux Suse on my computer but until now I always worked with Windows. Can somebody explain to me step by step what I have to do to install Flash Player 7 Linux on my computer. Kind regards, Mlony. :study: |

To install the Flash Player plug-in for Linux via an install script, follow the directions below. Note: This installer is script-based and cannot be run from a GUI.
1. Download and uncompress install_flash_player_7_linux.tar.gz. 2. After uncompressing the file, a directory called install_flash_player_7_linux is created. Navigate to this directory. 3. From the command line, type ./flashplayer-installer to run the installer. The installer will instruct you to shut down your browser(s). 4. Once the installation is complete, the plug-in will be installed in your Mozilla browser. To verify, choose Help > About Plug-ins from the browser's menu. To manually install the plug-in for Linux, copy the following files to your browser's plugins folder: * libflashplayer.so * flashplayer.xpt |
