Hi, you might find this page helpful/informative:

https://wiki.debian.org/skype

And here is where you get Skype (if you choose not to use an open-source solution after reading the page above):

http://www.skype.com/en/download-sky...-for-computer/

But keep in mind you are using Debian "testing" so it might be broken, or break at some future date. Skype developers are probably not wasting a lot of time on Debian Jessie until it becomes "stable."

1. You download it from the skype website choosing the correct distribution. In our case it's Debian 7.0 multiarch. If you are running a 64bit system you will need the multiarch-support package installed since there is no 64bit version of skype for linux.
2. When you download the deb package just give this command:
Code:
sudo dpkg -i <name of skype package>
jdk

carte asus, processeur intel core2

pavucontrol_2.0-2_i386.deb
skype-debian_4.3.0.37-1_i386.deb
brancher la webcam à l'entrée usb

verifier que en ligne de commande terminal:

$ alsamixer

sortir -> touche echap

verifier que en ligne de commande terminal:

$ pavucontrol

cliquez sur l'onglet skype -> option ->
une fenetre apparait:
clic -> vidéo
clic -> son

clic -> enregistrement
elle presque vide en son contenu...
clic -> périphérique d'entrée -> webcam le curseur à 75% environ

Ever since Microsoft bought Skype they aren't wasting time on Linux in general. It's been pure downhill since then. I know not the topic of thread but I seriously recommend switching to Google Hangouts. Skype was a non stop problem for me in Debian, *buntu, and anywhere else I tried it since MS took over. I gave up.

I've been using both skype and Debian testing for years. I am unaware of any differences between how well skype runs on testing vs. stable. When you say "it", are you referring to "skype" or "testing"?
