How do I get rid of the fine white amplitude scale in Audacity?
In Audacity 2.0.0 (audio editor), I've accidentally created a vertical
white-cum-grey-coloured scale immediately next to, and to the right of, the
amplitude scale (+1 0 -1). It's a fine graduated scale.
Also at the same time I seem to have created a horizontal grey band above and
below the waveform, that also partially overlaps the waveform. The above
features now appear with every waveform. They weren't there before.
I've a feeling that I created the above things when I pressed a keyboard
combination that I didn't mean to.
My best guess is that I was pressing something like one of the following keys,
but I can't be sure:
CTRL+C, CTRL+D, CTRL+R, CTRL+F, CTRL+V, CTRL+T, CTRL+G, CTRL+B, CTRL+Y, CTRL+H,
CTRL+N.
The white scale and grey bands are still there after exiting and re-opening
Audacity. I've tried, but I can't find a reference to what creates or removes
these features, or what they're for.
I'd like to remove them without re-installing Audacity. Please does anyone know
how to get rid of them, because they're driving me nuts.
I would be interested to know what these features are for, but don't worry if
you don't know.
