How do I fix this and install it ?
ok I try and install Apollon and this is what it says:
Code:
josh@linux:~> cd /home/josh/apollon-0.8/ |
You haven't installed the compiler. I think SuSE uses yast for package management, I'm not sure. See if there is am option to install "developmental packages", otherwise install gcc and try again.
|
im uncompressing GCC now, my cdrom won't open so I can't pop
in the Suse 2 cd , so I went to FM and got it. will try in a min |
Quote:
Check for a device /dev/cdrom in the output from "mount." If you find one, unmount it with: umount device |
try the command:
eject |
/dev/hda2 on / type reiserfs (rw)
proc on /proc type proc (rw) devpts on /dev/pts type devpts (rw,mode=0620,gid=5) shmfs on /dev/shm type shm (rw) usbdevfs on /proc/bus/usb type usbdevfs (rw) /dev/hdc on /media/cdrom type iso9660 (ro,nosuid, nodev, user=josh) linux:/home/josh/gcc-3.3 # |
Eject worked, thanks !
|
now I get this
Code:
linux:/home/josh/apollon-0.8 # ./configure |
ANyone know why it says that up there ?

You have a dependency. Install a version of Qt that is greater than or equal to release version 3.1
|

to make it finish the QT install ? I tried doing app again it says the same thing |

|
Did you download and install qt OK? Did you re-read the README and INSTALL files for apollon? Are the qt libs where apollon expects them to be?
|
I ran ./configure for qt
but at the end of the ./configure it says run /usr/bin/gmake so I terminal to /usr/bin then I type gmake it says no target selected what do I do ? |
