how do I find my glibc and gtk+ versions?

I'm running SuSE 8.1 and I want to install Netscape 7.1. I went to the Netscape download page and found the system requirements. There were 2 requirements that I don't know how to find the version numbers of: gtk+ (1.2.0 - 1.2.5 or greater is preferred) and glibc (2.2.4). Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Try to execute the library.

I.E.

>> /lib/libc.so.6

The website I read this on says it will work for new glibc only, i.e. those whose file names contain a "6" such as libc.so.6 in the example above.
