How do I connect my p900 to linux

Hi there this is my first post on linux questions.org

I made the jump from win 98 to Suse 9.1 pro a month ago and I have found a tool for nearly every program that I ever used on windows and have no interests in going back to Ms.

The only thing that I still have not been able to locate is a way to synchronize my contacts, todo list, notes and calender on my Sony Ericsson P900 with any linux programs. I may not have been looking hard enough but I have tried. I have come across kitchen sync, and multi sync. I think multi sync is my best option as it had information about connecting to the T68 or other SE mobiles but not the P900.

The other thing is that the usb cradle which I connect to the computer is being detected through usbview but I sm unsure as to how if I can use this in some way to access the phone.

:Pengy: Does anyone have any success with p900 and linux? Or would my best bet be to purchase a blutooth dongle and sync that way? I would prefer to use the cradle as it is what I bought the phone for to sync with the PC and I would rather not have to shell out for another piece of equipment.

Not sure if I have included enough information in this post for anyone to be able to help me but I will check back to answer any questions.

Thank you in advance
:)

Yeah thankyou for that page I had already found alfonzo's page but initially found it a little overwhelming I'm sure the guy knows exactly what he is talking about unfortunately, I don't, i'm still kinda struggling with the linux techy speak. Think I might try and see If I can't get somewhere with his site and at least mount my phone on the pc mmmn might struggle with that one.. If anyone else has managed to use a program to access their sony erricson p900 I'm all ears.
Cheers

hi
I've been trying a lot to connect my p900 to my linux box, but no luck the connection keeps getting disconnected after 1.5 secs.
I've tried mounting using p3nfsd but the connection gets terminated.
Have you been able to mount your p900 filesystem?

Could you please tell me whats wrong heres the message i'm getting
