How do I change the default Abiword font (default copy/paste font too)
 

Abiword tries really hard to kiss Microsoft's ass and thus the default font is Times New Roman which of course doesn't work unless I have MS core fonts which is not going to happen.

I found tons of information on changing the default font by editing the font face between the style tags .normal.abw, but that does not really change the default font, it only changes the it for a NEW document.

Whenever I copy and paste anything (even unformatted text) it pastes it in Times New Roman meaning I have to constantly edit the font which is incredibly unproductive.

How do I make the default font, not Times New Roman, under any circumstances.

In fact if I could get Times New Roman off their menu that would be great too.
