How do I access my devices in konqueror?

Hi, I'm running win xp and PCLinuxOS on my system. Anyway, in PCLinuxOS, how do I access my cd and and compact flash drive? PCLOS uses Konqueror for its file management. When I go to "file:/dev/cdroms" it shows two devices there (cause i have two cd drives). The icons are three little boxes and when i click on it, it asks me what to open it with. I selected konqueror and it said "folder expected" or something like that. Any ideas?

P.S. I'm a so be easy on me .

You have to set up the mount points in the Master Control Centre. Ensure you use "user" as an option so you can mount them without being "root".

When you have done this, and open Konqueror in file management mode, press F9 to open up the bar on the left, and save your settings. You should find on the left had bar, a logo which looks like three little cogs. If you click on this, it opens to a list of mount points, you just need to click on the one you wish to mount, and it should mount it! To unmount, you need to make sure the mount point is not open in any windows, then right click and select unmount (or for a CD/DVD, eject)

You can also put "devices" on your desktop. Just right click and Create New > Device and follow the steps... this will set up icons which work much the same, where you can mount and unmount.

Hope this helps!
