How disable GPG.

How do I disable GPG? GPG is always causing me problems to install rpms and apt.
GPG causing me to get for most of installs "V3 signature" problems. Please help me.

I have SuSe 9.1 personal thxs for asking me, I needed to tell you what distribution I have .

you don't mention your distro, so it's hard to know...if you're using suse with apt-get, go into your /etc/apt/apt.conf.d file and edit the gpg-checker.conf and change the line that says:

GPG: : Check true


GPG: : Check no

Thxs for the quick reply. After I've edited the file. I try to save the changed file it saids unable to modify it. How do I become as root so that I can edit the file while using editor or konsole?
What editor can I use with the konsole?
