How can I view all of my packages and dependencies?

Hi. Is there a way or a program I can get to view (preferably graphically) all of my packages and their dependencies?

I want to be able to look through a tree, and see what needs what, with the intention of precise pruning. I got a little apt-get happy, and have a bit of bloatation going on.

Nope - do you have any idea how many packages that would be. Also - it would be very messy considering that packages can share dependencies, creating cross-links in the supposed "tree".

Instead, try going through synaptic, you can remove individual packages and also their dependencies... and it will warn you if something you remove is needed by something else.

Thanks. I went through Synaptic before even posting though. I figured if it can keep track of so many packages something else also could.

In the end, I decided I would just use it as an excuse to try another distribution. Thanks for your time.
