how can i use dual monitor in linux?

Hi all,

I would like to ask:

I am using IBM notebook and work usualy with dual monitor,

I would like to ask how can i use dual monitor in linux so that sometimes it is much more convenient to give presentation in linux environment,,

It is possible..

On both a HP nc8000 and Toshiba 2100 I have been able to do this. It is still less convenient than Windows XP, but it is possible. You can either extend your desktop or have a full desktop started on the second monitor (so second status bar, second systray, etc etc.

Depends on the videocard you use on how to achieve this. Additionally, it could differ per distribution (which version of Desktop manager do you have and do you use KDE or GNome, or yet another?).

check 4 ur video card driver and check the kernel then config ur X-server config file.
