How can I uninstall Scons

Hello:

I've just downloaded Scons 2.0.1, and I wonder if I need to uninstall the former 1.3.1.

I have searching in the doc file, but I haven't seen nothing related with uninstall.

There are a similar post here, but the user deleted manually the files, and I wonder if there are another way more "classic" :-)

Thank you

No uninstall is possible, when installed with 'python setup.py install'.

But the structure is simple, if you want it all deleted :
rm /usr/bin/scons*
rm -r /usr/lib/scons*
.. will do. ( Or /usr/local/ , if that's the location.)

Some of the files in ///bin/ are overwritten by a new install.
But three files have a <version> and should be deleted.
In ///lib/ , a new directory is installed : scons-2.0.1/
The scons-1.3.1/ directory is then surplus, and should be deleted.
..
