Hi!
I am trying to set up my computer to watch terrestrial TV here in the UK.
I have been searching and asking other forums for weeks.

my set up

M/B Abit AT7-max2
CPU AMD Athlon XP 2500+
Memory 1Gb
Graphics Nvidia GeForce FX 5600 (ChainTech)

Kernal 2.6.12
Modules loaded

Multimedia Audio controller: Brooktree Corporation Bt878 Video Capture (rev11)

I have just ran dmesg and my TV tuner card has been detected. The relevent info is posted below.

There are no error messages that I can see. It would seem that I need to get the kernel and kaffine talking, but how?

I hope somebody can help and point me in the right direction as I am a complete novice.

Many thanks in advance.
