How can I set to type with foreign languages(special characters most)

I have installed Redhat vers. 9.0 on my PC and i have this problem: I want to type in romanian language, for documents printing, and i ask you for some help if you know how to resolve my problem.How can i set my keyboard to type special characters in foreign languages

If you're running KDE - run KDE Control Center -> Regional&Accessibility -> Keyboard Layout and choose the right layout.
