How can I run a program without sound?

Hello!

I would run a program (Kmuddy) but I get

ALSA lib pcm_hw.c:1155snd_pcm_hw_open) open /dev/snd/pcmC0D0p failed: Device or resource busy

I don't need sound from Kmuddy... could this be a solution?

I haven't got a clue about what kmuddy is, but hev you tried running "Kmuddy --help" or "man Kmuddy" and see if that tell you any way to run without sound.

Kmuddy is a MUD client. MUDs are online multiplayer roleplaying games. Yes, I've tried, but there's non option like '--nosound'.
