How can I play .wma(or .avi) files with RealPlayer10?
 
Is there any plugins that I can install to play these formats files such as .wma .avi ????

Can I ask you why you would want to when you could use mplayer or one of the million other media players?. As far as I know, realplayer only plays realmedia files.

Check out mplayerhq.hu for a copy of mplayer. It's my personal favorite as far a video players are concerned.

Thank you!I know.I thought RealPlayer for Linux was as stronger to play vedio files as its peformance over MS-Windows system.
Now I would like to enjoy MPlayer in my Linux system.

Yea realplayer only plays shockwave, real media, and maybe a couple other knockoff formats.

Mplayer's great for that kind of thing but mplayer will only turn out to perform as well as it was compiled. Especially if you use the gui and prebuilt versions of mplayer it's bound to crash a whole lot.

I think xine is much much better for simplicity purposes if you like the gui.
