How can I move my Kmail emails to Outlook?

Simple question...hopfully a simple answer. I have all my mail from Kmail, and I want to be able to move them to Outlook Express 6.

(1) Is this possible?
(2) Can you tell me how, please?

Thanks lots.

First of all, why do you want to do that.

Second of all, Outlook and Kmail use different file formats so it is going to be hard to do. You would probably have to back everything up to a FAT32 Partition or a CD and then reboot into Windows and then somehow convert it.

re;

on the other hand..... Kmail has a wizard to import Oulook mails but support nothing (i think) in the other direction.

Migrating to Win. Again ?

I suggest that you disable your pop account (in Kmail) for a moment and start forwarding all the mails to your (win)email adress.
Boot Win and outlook.

Let's not look at it this way... Why not convert it to a more popular format, and try from there. I know you can set KMail (because I'm using) to use the mbox format, which should be recognized by Mozilla, Evolution and some others. It might help this to get your mails to a format Outlook can import. Of course, I've never and I'll never use outlook, so I'm not familiar with his import features.
