How can I make a whole disk image of a dual boot system?

Greetings,
I have a dual boot Windows XP and Fedora 10 system that is working just the way I want. Windows XP is on an NTFS partition and Fedora 10 is on an EFT3 partition. I want to make a back up of my perfectly working configuration by saving an image of the entire disk (both the NFTS and the EFT3 partitions) to an external hard disk connected via USB port. Can someone recommend a disk imaging program that will make an image of the entire disk in this kind of dual boot configuration? I know there are disk image programs that will make separate images of different partitions but I want to make a whole disk image containing two different disk formats and partitions. Thanks for your help.

Just using dd might work also. I found this after a quick search: http://www.linuxweblog.com/dd-image The others might be a safer method, I don't know.
