How can I import my KDE 3.3.0 settings into Dropline Gnome?

Hello, everybody.

I've recently installed Dropline Gnome on my Slackware 10 box, and I think I like it better than KDE so far. My only problem is that none of my programs were transferred from the KDE menu during installation. Since I'd rather not spend several hours editing the Gnome menu by hand (and don't know how anyway!), I was wondering whether anybody on here could tell me how I can transfer the menu items (programs, etc) over from KDE in a timely fashion.

Also, is there any way to get apps to dock to the taskbar in gnome like they do in KDE?

Thanks in advance for your help!

GNOME reads the menu from /usr/share/applications and kde in $KDEDIR/share/applications/kde. Create a symlink as follows
#ln -s $KDEDIR/share/applications/kde/* /usr/share/applications/.
On Slackware $KDEDIR is /opt/kde. I am not sure if this will work correctly, but its worth a try. Try it with one application and if it works symlink the rest.
