How can I determine whether the system is posix.


Hello:
linux kernel 2.16/Slack12 distro.

how can i determine whether or not my system is posix. For in an INSTALL there's a seccion

Configuring Optional Compile Features (POSIX system)
----------------------------------------------------

I'm about to compile and this is of interest to me. Thank for reading.
