How can I create an image of a software raid partition?

I have a server in my house and want to make an image of the system so that I can recreate it easily if it ever breaks/I break it.

The system has two hard drives, with software raid on root and boot:

hda1 hdc1 - /boot
hda6 hdc6 - /
hda7 hdc7 - /var
hda8 hdc8 - /tmp
hda9 hdc9 - /data

all partitions are software raid.

What tools exist to make images of each partition? I used partimage in the past, but I don't remember that it supported software raid. I'm looking into at them moment.

All suggestions welcome

Shouldn't there be /dev/md# devices for the raids ?

dd if=/dev/xx# of=/mnt/ImageName.img
There are some more options you can take a look at for dd. If your going to include the mbr, you'll need to look at those options, specifically the bs= option.
