Hotel management software
 

Hi, I am looking for a package to manage a hotel

It should have the ability to manage several rooms and store multiple price rates.

I tried PHP-Residence in Windows which wasn't bad, but I can't use it on Linux as I have no idea how to set up apache; therefore the software should not require Apache.

I use SuSE 10.0 with KDE.

actually, if you wish to use linux, you must learn to install new software at some point in time, besides, SUSE linux uses RPMs (a single compressed-file for each software) which are quite easy to install once you learn a few steps .. in fact, easier than installing on Windows

I dont have any links right now, but you could try searching on google: just use the search terms "SUSE linux install apache" or similar

and, the PHP package which is separate from the Apache package comes with a name "httpd-php" or something like that

P.S. one more thing, if you have any problems with apache, check the services and firewall settings using YAST
