Hot to set Eclipse to link to dll files ?

Hello all,

I am wondering how can I use some dll files with Eclipse, running on Linux. I've read that it needs first a static library which will call the dll files afterwards.

My application is to communicate with a software kit running on another computer with Windows XP OS, which is the software package for an eye tracking device. That software has some dll files that I must include into my application so that I can control the eye tracker from within my application.

With Windows and Visual C++ it would have been easy, but I must do this in Linux with Eclipse. So......

...some advices would be very very helpful.
