HORDE3 question

Hi
Ive got a debian box on which i installed HORDE3 and Iam working on the configuration right now, I was wondering if HORDE is the right tool to do the job..what I want to do is to login to my debian box and retrieve my mails..however my pop3 accounts are not hosted on the debian box they are hosted on the internet by my hosting company. So the question would be ...can HORDE retrieve my emails for me from my pop3 accounts at the hosting company and store them locally for me, so that I can log on and check my mail that is now stored in my debian box ?

Thx for your suggestions...

If by horde you mean imp (which requires horde), then yes, you can use that to retrive mails from a pop account and serve them up on a web frontend.

Well if you are already downloading the mails with fetchmail you've got the option to run a local imap server (for instance cyrus) and have horde/imp connect to that one. This gives you greater flexibility since you can use whatever frontend you want.
You can also skip the fetchmail part and have imp directly fetch the mail via pop. Look in the imp/config/servers.php file there are examples for all servers that imp supports.
