What software do people use in Linux to look after their budgets ?
I am trying to use Kmymoney but it is not that easy.

Take a look at Moneydance (http://moneydance.com); it's a Java application that does checking, savings, investments, budgets, transaction downloads and pretty much everything you need to do simply and elegantly. The evaluation is free, the one-time license is $39.99 US. I've been using it for some years and have been perfectly happy with it.
