I had found a way to automatically hide the various toolbars/location bars etc using a file and NOT from konqueror itself. I thought the file to make these changes in was the kickerrc file. I can't seem to remember what to change and where to make the changes. I am using slackware and I want konqueror to load without any toolbars/location bar, etc without having to manually remove them once konqueror is started. Ive searched the forums and google and can't seem to find the webpage that explained how to do it.


Any ideas? thanks!

ok so the file isn't kickerrc its konqueror.rc that needs to be edited.

Just add the "hidden="true"" part to this line

<ToolBar hidden="true" fullWidth="false" name="mainToolBar" newline="false"><text>Main Toolbar</text>

to each toolbar you want hidden
