Hide and Seek

Hi,

Recently, when i burned a CD in windows XP with Nero, with couple of hidden files.
then i tried to open same in my mandrake 10.1
i was unable to view those files.

But same can be viewed in windows with "unchecking hidden files options in windows"

Is thier any way to view them in linux!

thanks,

there is a mount option for the iso9660 filesystem (the CD-ROM filesystem) called unhide:
Quote:
unhide Also show hidden and associated files. (If the ordinary files and
the associated or hidden files have the same filenames, this may
make the ordinary files inaccessible.)
So, mount it with this option enabled

read the man page:
Code:
man mount
