use rpm -ivh filename.rpm
if you aren't sure where it's installed to, you can slocate filename
it should be as simple as typing something like winamp in a terminal window..

open a terminal window or "run application" and type "Winamp". linux commands are case-sensitive, so you will have to remember to use the capital W. personally, i'd rather use XMMS because the audio presets work. for that, just log in as root, then do yum install xmms.
