hi i just want to know where to put the .dll file


hello there i am getting error that say's i need .dll files, ok then where should i put the .dll file, forexample which location in the wine folder.

thanks in advance

a windows app in wine I assume? I don't know much about wine, but relative to your windows file structure, the easiest way is to put the .dll in the same folder as the .exe file running. some other common places it'll look for .dll files is in your windows directory and your system32 (system32 is in your windows directory which is like \windows or \win32)
