Question hfs support in Linux

Does RedHat9 or mandrake9 linux support creating a hfs or hfsplus volume.
Is there a package that can do it.
Please send me some details for installing the package.

I think the kernel supports hfs but I don't konw if there's an app that can create it. Do a little googling
