Hexen 2 under Linux?
 

I'm trying to run Hexen 2 under linux, but it wont work under Wine or Cedega, and I have trouble with the linux port.

I get the error

glhexen2: relocation error: glhexen2: symbol _dl_catch_error, version GLIBC_2.0 not defined in file ld-linux.so.2 with link time reference

Ive asked many but no one seems to know what this error means, and the email to contact the author no longer works.

Ugh. It means whoever wrote or built the Hexen2 port for Linux apparently screwed up big time .... judging from the google results there's no way this error could be caused accidentally. The only conclusion is that whoever porting Hexen broke the rules.

I'm afraid the only way you can fix this problem is by tracking down and contacting whoever porting Hexen 2 and reporting this error to them.
