Helpl with K Pilot

I am having trouble configuring Kpilot to my palm. It does not seem to read the files. I have the right port but something is just not allowing the sync to take place. When I click on Daemon it does not do anything/ any suggestions?

Push the sync button on the device itself, then after a coiple seconds, click on the sync button in K Pilot, or jpilot.

I have tried both and found jpilot to be much more reliable, and has a much better interface.

Also you might want to check your conduit settings...my default was set to timeout at 3 seconds and it takes about 5 to sync. So I bumped up the number. I agree with Bruce...jpilot is much better than kpilot and korginizer. You also want to make sure you have the right support in your kernel.

Some good links to explain how to work through this:

I hope this helps.
