help with Xwindow 4.0.3
 

Hi, I need some help with Xwindow system. First I´ve installed in my computer a Red Hat 7.1 OS and it has Xwindow system 4.0.3, also I have a SIS8G6C205 video card so it is not supported by Xwindow, but 3.3.6 version does supports it, I´m a newbie, what and where I have to download in order to have this version installed in my computer with Gnome.

You need to uninstall current version of XFree and install Xfree86 3.3.6 go over to http://rpmfind.net to get the package, get the src.rpm or go to http://www.xfree86.org to get X from maintainer directly
