help with wine?
 

im running slackware 10 and when i install wine from source (without the wineinstall thing) or with a .tgz, it doesnt have a ~/.wine/config file already created. if i just copy the sample into ~/.wine/config, will it work?

also, i see a config.orig file that looks like a wine config file and a bunch of other wierd files that seem like they're from wine too and i dont like the idea of wine putting things in my root directory. these files dont get deleted when i uninstall wine either. i thought the root directory was supposed to just have those main folders in it like /home and /usr, i cant have programs installing thier files there :eek:

you have to atleast modify the name of windows partition that you would like to use
