help with socket connections

I am trying to get a socket connection to work. The set-up seems to work fine but when I run accept(), the system freezes here and I have no idea what is wrong. Any ideas/help will be great!

If this is a programming question
  1. it fits better in the programming section
  2. please post the relevant code (and put it in code tags)
