help with slimserver

hi, i tried to install slimserver

and i am having some difficulties.

I downloaded the RPM [i am running redhat 9.0]

and did rpm -ivh smilname..

it said 100%
then it said go to http://hostname to configure

however.. when i do that.. it says "connection was refused"

I tried my hostname, "localhost", "", and my ip adress [both external and internal]

no luck..

i also shut down all firewalls..
and forwarded port 9000 on my router...

any ideas..?

Thanks, Ilya

Did you start the daemon up? If you do a netstat, is anything actually listening on port 9000?
