Help with Mozilla Email config. comcast issue
Hi,
I have purchased a computer for my mother-in-law that uses Linspire 4.5 and uses Mozilla Internet Suite 1.5. I use comcast as my broadband internet provider. They do not provide technical support for anything but Outlook Express. I have sucessfully set up email accounts in Outlook and Outlook Express. But I can't get my mother-in-laws account working properly. I have all the server info correct. I can receive email, but cannot send email. When I try to send email, it keeps asking for the password over and over. When I hit cancel I get the error "The message could not be sent because connecting to SMTP server smtp.comcast.net failed. The server may be unavailable or is refusing SMTP connections. Please verify that your SMTP server setting is correct and try again, or contact your network administrator.
My settings are
incoming mail.comcast.net Port 110
outgoing smtp.comcast.net Port 25
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
