Hello, recently my version of Mono had updated to 2.10.6 which has caused a issue because it does not support older .NET and I would either like to be able to keep the newest version of mono and use it for things that will need it, but I want to run a older version along side it, like version 2.8 or 2.10.1. If that's not possible I would just like to uninstall mono 2.10.6 all together and install mono 2.10.1 or 2.8, but I have no idea what to do, and I have been struggling with this for days..

Is it possible to just get rid of version 2.10.5 and install 2.8...? I don't understand why this can't be done. I install 2.8 and it still uses 2.10.5, why?? My servers have been off for days now.. :/
