help with making a video DVD from an avi file
i have edited together this months board breaking from my school and i normally use nero under windows to create a video DVD. i noticed that K3B has this option as well, but it fails when i load in a very small (less then 5min) avi file.
error = can not calculate size... so what does linux use to create a viewable DVD from avi or other files that can be played by a set top player? |
I haven't played with video conversions for over a year now, but one tool i have come across is Avidemux:
http://avidemux.sourceforge.net/ It might be able to convert the video to the proper format for DVD. There are lots of tools around for this sort of work. K3b probably don't support a lot of conversions directly. |
