[root@Jeff-PC openhantek-extractfw]# ./configure
bash: ./configure: No such file or directory
[root@Jeff-PC openhantek-extractfw]# make

Hi, sure the link to the files are here. They are not allowed to distribute the firmware with this software so youbuild a tool that allows you to extract it from windows drivers. Awhile ago I go everything running on a different computer but now I am stuck trying to build the extract firmware tool.

did you read the two files
README
INSTALL

the instructions are in those files

to QUOTE the INSTALL
Quote:
o build dsoextractfw from source, you need bfd. Under Debian or Ubuntu you can just install the package libbfd-dev. I don't know the package names for other distributions but they may be similar.
did you install that first ???????

also from your "ls" copy / paste
there is NO "configure" file YET!!!! to run

you need to make that file

normally this is done using a provided script or running
Code:
autoreconf -iv
then run the configure file made from that command

you HAVE the autotools " configure.in" file to configure the configure file

and READ!!!! THE CODE in the two scripts "fwget.sh" and "install-sh"
