help with google talk and kopete

i did a little searching for this but am unable to find the answer i need.

im a little new to linux so please be kind!

i am trying to get google talk to work with kopete, i know that i have to set up thru jabber, and i know i need qca-tls. my problem is i have tried several versions of qca and each different one i try errors out due to missing depend. the last error i got was that i needed qca1[==1.0]i believe (forgive me im on my work computer at the moment). can someone point me in the direction of the original package that i need to the the qca working for kopete? im currently using mandriva 2006, but ill also need it for fedora core 5. thanks for the help
