Unhappy help with gnomad2 &nomad Jukebox2

After 2 months of repeated reinstalls ,buying and selling hardware i finally have a configuration that works everything but the mp3 player.
I tried installing every interface i could find for the creative nomad jukebox 2 libnjb njbdriver ect.
The only one that i could get to work was Gnomad2 that i downloaded as a tar file.
Anyway the program seemed to work fine .I transfered songs from NJB to my computer and back again(about 30 mp3s).The next time i started the program everything went ok NJB was scanned and songs listed but when i tried to transfer a song to my PC i get a error message in the terminal

I/O failure on usb data pipe

then when i tried to transfer a song to my NJB the app. crashes and i get this

(gnomad2:2587): Gtk-CRITICAL
**:File ../../Gtk gtkaccellabel.c: line 213 (gtk_accel-label-new):assertion 'string !=NULL' failed

**gtkmisc.c:line 210(gtk misc set alignment): assertion GTK IS MISC (misc)' failed

**gtkcontainer.c: line 947 (gtk container add): assertio GTK IS WIDGET (widget ) failed
** gtkaccelladel.c: linr 399 (gtk accel label set accel aidget): assertion GTK IS ACCEL LABEL)'failed

I am to new to linux to figure out how to fix this can someone anyone help this is the only thing that is keeping me from being happy with linux.Please dont tell me i have to buy a new mp3 player or install microsoft just for the mp3 player.

Thanks in advance erik MDK 9.1

well got it fixed had many errors in the file system forced a file system check on reboot and let the system fix the errors that it found.
this set gnomad2 right, for now anyway.I am not sure what caused my problems but i dont think it was gnomad2 that caused the problem it was probable something stupid i did but what i dont know.
