Help with Emacs Indenting / TAB

Hello Everyone,
All I want is that when I press the "TAB" key, I will ALWAYS
get an actual TAB character--not spaces, not relative indenting
with tabs mixed with spaces, just one singlel TAB character.
I tried every possible option I could find, but nothing works.
I absolutely despise the relative indenting, and I haven't found
a way to turn it off...
Thanks,
Glen
