Question Help with conky and path please

Good day

I downloaded a conky , and this is the read me that came with it
============================================================================

bars and text conky :

the setups fot the two widgets used in this script are fully explained here:
for the bars:
http://u-scripts.blogspot.com/2010/0...ph-widget.html

for the text :
http://u-scripts.blogspot.com/2010/06/text-widget.html
http://u-scripts.blogspot.com/2010/0...et-part-2.html

In order to run this conky, save the files conkyrc, LoadAll.lua, bargraph.lua and text.lua in a folder

in conkyrc, set the path to the Lua script at this line :
lua_load ~/conky/bars/LoadAll.lua

in LoadAll.lua, set the ABSOLUTE path to the lua files :
package.path = "/home/wlourf/conky/bars/?.lua"

You can tweak colors ans parameters at the beginning of the LoadAll.lua script,
for example, this line :
i_temp = conky_parse("${exec sensors | grep temp1 | cut -c15-16}")

has to be changed to fit to your configuration
==================================================================================================== =

So here is my question I have the folder Bars in Home/bfk/conky

and I use this command to run my old conky
conky --config=/home/$USER/.conkyrc1&

Im very much confused about this path thing

how can i run this please ???

thank u

/home/wlourf in the conkyrc should be your /home/<user>.

scrot is a very good screen-grab tool.

By the way; concerning the distribution in your profile, there is no such thing as Linux 17. I assume it refers to Linux Mint 17. Mint is not the Linux. It is one of many Linux systems. (Nothing personal. It is just one of my pet peeves.)
