Help with changing resolution in Gimp2(print)
Hi y'all
I installed mandrake 10.1 about three weeks ago and the more I use it the more bugs I find. I installed all updates and that killed my box. I reinstalled everything over the last two days(but no updates) and am now trying to fix all my problems again. Now I can not change the resolution of the pictures that I want to print in gimp2. The resolution button and the media source button on the Printv4.2 window is greyed out. What can I do to fix this. The default resolution produces very bad results. Can I install the gimp program from mandrake 9.2 (it worked great)? I am thinking about going back to mandrake 9.1 (the last good mandrake OS I have used) or some other OS if I keep finding problems in 10.1. I am using a epson c82 printer and have printed top quality pics with it in mandrake 9.2 with gimp. thanks in advance Erik |
got it fixed
got it ! I went back through my printer setup ,deleted and reinstalled my printer with the mdk configure printer program. Then I set my printer back up in gimp print. and now I can set the resolution of the pic.s I am printing. They look very good better than in mdk 9.2 with the old version of the gimp. I don't know what was wrong but it works now with the same settings as before. :)
