It's been almost a year, but...

And it's probably best he installs another Linux distro instead of Linpus.

Acer Travelmate running Linpus 9.2

I can verify that the X subsystem is not loaded on the travelmates running Linpus 9.2 I JUST bought a travelmate B115-M/B115-MP (that's what's on the CD). The CD has drivers and a lot of Windows executables-- no LX code.

Thank you very much, cousins, for the location of where to download the full DVD version. I'll hit a superstore for an external DVD drive to install tomorrow. I'll keep you advised.
