help proxie type thing

i was wondering if theres a way to redirect

torrents out there that are using www.domianhidden.com/announce as the announce URL and the new announce url is tracker.domainhidden.com:2710/announce.

<quote="niteshdw">
Since those requests are coming in on port 80 (the same port I want to run the webserver on), I'm using Apache to Proxy those requests. That puts a huge load on Apache (processing up to 300 requests at a time).

I want to know if there is a way to redirect all HTTP requests for "/announce" or "/scrape" to port 2710 BEFORE those requests reach port 80.

Here is my current Apache config:

Code:
<VirtualHost *:80>
--snip--

ServerName www.domainhere.com
DocumentRoot "/www/www.domainhere.com"

--snip--

<Location "/announce">
ProxyPass http://localhost:2710/announce acquire=1 smax=100 ttl=6
</Location>
<Location "/scrape">
ProxyPass http://localhost:2710/scrape acquire=1 smax=100 ttl=6
</Location>

In my Apache Status window, I'm seeing a LOT (LOT!) of requests FROM 127.0.0.1 for "GET / ". I have absolutely no idea why.
